An IDP (Individual Development Plan) is a personal growth plan for an employee: development goals, actions and timelines.
An Individual Development Plan (IDP) captures which skills and competencies an employee will build, through what actions — training, projects, mentoring — and by when. It is usually drawn up with the manager based on a review and links personal goals to business needs.
