A recruitment funnel is the candidate journey from application to hire, split into stages with conversion between them.
A recruitment funnel shows how many candidates move from one stage to the next — application, screening, interview, test task, offer, start. Conversion and time at each step reveal where candidates drop off and which stage slows hiring; the funnel lives in an ATS and is analysed in HR analytics.
